Today’s Image of the Day is by artist Kynne Llewellyn. Look out for Merlin’s nemesis and King Arthurs half sister Morgana. She is different in many tellings of the tale of Arthur but universally in pre- Thomas Mallory works she began as a benevolent apprentice to Merlin who, over time, became The Round Tables nemesis. In this image we see Morgana after she has turned towards dark magic. The green colors express her relationship to nature. The scenery is so lush and beautiful and the sense of urgency with the pose, hair and falcon is ominous. What a spectacular story being told here Kynne! The Lost Unicorn Photo Contest has begun!
