Today’s Photo of the Day is by artist Klaus Reinherz. This image is a wonderful take that mixes old Viking style with modern/futuristic flair. The title mixes Helm’s Deep, from LOTR, with a song based on old Norse runestones called Krigsgaldr. The song is about war but also the desire for peace and understanding. This image is a simple, yet beautiful portrait. The details are sharp and crisp and the style of the avatar is reminiscent of perhaps something from the Thor movies. Well done Klaus! We love this.
