“The Lieutenant of the Tower of Barad-dûr he was, and his name is remembered in no tale; for he himself had forgotten it, and he said: ‘I am the Mouth of Sauron.’ ~The Return of the King, LoTR Book 5, Ch 10, The Black Gate Opens
Today’s Image of the Day is by artist Sugarfairy88 Resident. Oooooh the creepy Mouth of Sauron. Quite possibly one of the most well known scenes that never was in the theatrical release of Return of The King. The colors in this image give the feel of coming out of some kind of evil. The grotesque mouth oozes words of despair, spite and illusions. The entire feel of this image is surreal. We love this one Sugar! Enchantment is now open! This round our inspiration is from J.R.R Tolkien’s Lord of The Rings. The Lost Unicorn gallery’s photo contest has begun! Rules are HERE. Contest at midnight March 3rd.
