The streets of Second Life shimmer with the final revelry of Enchantment’s Royal Kiss of Mardi Gras: The Frog Prince, and what a way to close out the celebration with this dazzling Image of the Day! Captured by the incredibly talented Kitty VonCat and Kynne Llewellyn, this image is the very embodiment of New Orleans magic, fairy tale wonder, and the uninhibited joy of Carnival.
Two enchanting figures stand before us, their faces adorned with exquisitely painted Mardi Gras masks by Juna Artistic Tattoo, each a masterpiece in its own right. Swirling colors of purple, gold, and emerald seem to come alive, catching the flicker of festival torches and the twinkle of beads tossed from elaborate floats. But one mask is particularly special—a crowned frog perches atop Kynne’s forehead, a playful nod to the beloved tale of The Frog Prince, where magic and fate intertwine in the most unexpected of ways.
