Today’s Photo of the Day is by artist Efinyn Jinx. Here we see a fallen Viking warrior. In Norse mythos, those who died in battle would be taken to Valhalla where they would fight battles every day and feast with the Gods. It was their version of heaven and this made them ruthless fighters because death was not seen as “the end” as they lived on in glory beyond life. The colors in this image are vivid and the use of a 3D filter gives it a new form of depth. The details are wonderfully captured and the scene is very moving. Beautiful work Efinyn.
